Project Brief

The brief from VALAD was to create a brand and campaign really emphasising the site’s dynamic commercial value making it stand out in the tough market.

Project Need

Our solution, we honed in on the term connectivity deciding on the name Gateway 241 - a summation of the site’s location at a major connection point to Sydney and the world. The property’s identity is realised in the form of a word-mark where connectivity is communicated by splitting and stacking the word ‘Gateway’ reconnecting it with a centralised number four. As a reference to the property’s captivating views of Sydney Airport, we elongated the numeral to visually represent a runway.

When approaching the campaign's print collateral we used the site’s sweeping views of the airport, ocean and CBD to form a strong sense of connection to the immediate city hub and wider world beyond. Keeping in line with the brand identity - we juxtaposed photographic representations of the property’s surrounds with bold typography and data displayed as infographics, creating impact and making the collateral easy to consume.

Sustainability

Frost* highly stands for sustainability, using only recyclable paper in the studio and carbon neutral paper.




This award celebrates creative and innovative design in the traditional or digital visual representation of ideas and messages. Consideration given to clarity of communication and the matching of information style to audience.
