Use cases range from tracking flights of friends and family members to find the best airport pickup time, to getting notified about flight schedule changes, to tracking planes all over the world – and much more. Planes Live is useful for professional pilots and travelers trying to make their connecting flight or for those who simply want to make sure they pick up their loved ones at the airport on time. Planes Live is the only flight-tracking app of its kind that is available without subscription requests or extra payment during app use.

When creating Planes Live, Apalon focused on user experience and made the app informative, beautiful and simple at the same time. Users have commented that unlike some apps where you have to dig in for information, the developers of Planes Live have done their research and know what data their customers want, and they deliver it.

Apalon worked with its public relations team at Dotted Line Communications to issue a press release announcing the launch of the app through PRNewswire. Additionally, media outreach was conducted encouraging reviews of the app. To reach additional key audiences, PR and marketing secured promotional placements with social media influencers such as @bergazertyplanes, student pilot, (liked more than 650 times). He also provided a glowing testimony for Apalon to use in its marketing and user acquisition programs.
