Design Pioneer Launches High-End San Francisco Coworking Space

With an opulent office layout and membership concierge service, Canopy aims to indulge a moneyed clientele.

Design pioneer and living legend Yves Béhar, in partnership with businessmen Amir Mortazavi and Steve Mohebi, has introduced an upscale twist to the coworking space segment with Canopy, an initially San Francisco-based collaborative office company with a luxury design aesthetic and concierge service catering to mature professionals.

Béhar, whose years of design experience include projects for Herman Miller, Samsung and Prada, anticipates curating the initial membership pool of the workspace, looking for a collection of people with “complimentary businesses and different interests and pursuits.”

Amongst the services offered through the concierge program are dry cleaning pick-up, food delivery, tech support and cold-pressed juice from a $700 Juicero Press designed by Béhar himself.

While the concept will launch September 2016 in San Francisco’s Pacific Heights neighborhood, the founders plan to quickly spread throughout the city, and eventually, to New York.
