Project Brief
The website’s goals were two-fold: Firstly introduce the Petinsurance.com.au brand to the marketplace, reflecting its core personality trait of being the 'anti-insurer insurer’. And secondly aid the conversion of site visitors into customers on the back of a marketing campaign delivered via TV, radio and digital.
Project Innovation/Need
Petinsurance.com.au is unique in the marketplace as the only pet insurer to offer Puppy and Indoor Cat insurance. It was therefore imperative that these products were clearly visible and accessible throughout the site. The solution therefore called for a division of the site structure and navigation to insure all policy types were visible in the main navigation as well as highlighted throughout the site and home page.
Design Challenge
Whilst needing to capture the cheekiness of Petinsurance.com.au’s brand, the website also needed to portray the trust and credibility you would expect from an insurance company. Ensuring the clear portrayal of policy information equally across all devices was also critical to success considering the high volume of mobile traffic.
User Experience
The key UX goal was to facilitate the ability to get a quote. This was achieved by strategically placing quote call to action buttons throughout the site wherever someone might feel they are ready to move to the quoting process.
