When the Catholic Church’s own insurance company needed to re-energise their people and their brand, they engaged Davidson to deliver. Recognising the strong 100 years of continuous service, CCI undertook a refresh of its strategy and brand promises, to adapt to a rapidly changing world.

Leveraging the new brand values and working closely with the Executive Team, we created a new energetic brand identity, bringing to life the new CEO’s vision of “Healthy water for life”. A redefined brand strategy overturned the previous undifferentiated, cold and corporate ‘look and feel’. A new vibrant and approachable brand personality is communicated inside and out, and across multiple touch-points. The internal launch needed to impress, but more importantly align staff at a time of incredible change inside and outside the business. South East Water now stands distinctively as an organisation already acknowledged as a leader in the category.

The revitalization of a global brand identity for the Australian market. Created originally in the UK for the global market, we were asked to look at how the identity could be expressed with a sense of energy it needed as a new brand in the Australian health insurance category.

ShopScience is a well established consumer insights company specialising in the retail sector. We developed the brand essence ‘Translating insights into competitive advantage’ and then created a brand symbol to bring this idea to life. The structure of our brand symbol reflects ShopScience’s  rigorous, systematic approach – information gathering, analysis, and ultimately, the translation of insights into improvement strategies. The feeling of precision that is created by the fine lines and the spectrum of colours elude to the visual language of science.

Heron Island Brand Identity - Delaware North Australia / Davidson Branding

Heron Island is known for the vast range of wildlife that families can explore and interact with. We developed the brand essence ‘Nature’s Wonderland’ and then created a brand symbol that describes the wildlife that is present on the land and in the surrounding ocean. The circular form of the symbol recalls a swirling vortex of circling fish and reflects the personality of the brand – vibrant, natural and active.

Competition for health services and funding has never been so critical in the 130 year history of RDNS. Davidson has had a long term and preferred supplier relationship with RDNS and with the appointment of a new CEO and Marketing and communications GM, was given an opportunity to create a new brand and story for RDNS to take on the future. The new logo is bright, positive and optimistic symbol. Lower case lettering reflects the modern, friendly and approachable nature of the business.

Whether it's your domestic tabby or an exotic bird, animals can be very particular about what they will ingest. Treating them with conventional medication can be a frustrating and difficult for the vet and for the owner. If they don't like the smell or the taste of something they will walk away. Slade Compoundia specialise in preparing drugs that will be ingested by the most discerning animal – pastes for ‘Sylvester’ that taste like Tuna or liver for ‘Rover’. Compoundia can even make Chocolate flavoured medication for your Macaw who is used to eating the finer things in life. Slade Compoundia make medication for the most discerning food critics.

Having outgrown their start-up identity, Circuit were seeking a new brand visual identity that would position them as an industry leader by reflecting their people-centred approach, emphasis on work-life balance and the company's social conscience. Our outcome, a brand identity that celebrates the diversity, vibrance, energy and passion of the Circuit team, their industry and people that are making IT happen.

Corporate Identity program for Family Life, a community welfare organisation. The identity was required to position Family Life by being both accessible and a leader of its type. Commissioning a professional brand consultant enabled good design to contribute to internal culture alignment, engagement with stakeholders, visibility in a crowded market space and tangible evidence of the calibre and professionalism of the business.
