Ziffit App

Digital - Retail & Shopping

Ziffit are one of the UK’s leading online marketplaces. They thrive on simplicity, offering customers a quick and easy way to trade unwanted media items. They are a young, ambitious and fast-growing business that allows their customers to trade in old or disused CDs, DVDs, games, books and more. We were tasked with building an app that first and foremost delivered on their company values, that could easily replicate the experience of using their website but with one crucial addition - barcode scanning. We were delighted that early reports suggest that the customer conversion rate has almost doubled since that app was launched in Autumn 2015 The Ziffit team commented: Everybody who talks about the app says how easy to use it is.

Chinwag Messaging App

Digital - New Service or Application

Jomoco LTD approached us to create an innovative messaging app. Chinwag Messaging offers an alternative way to message family, friends, and colleagues. Family and friends love to share. Emails are formal and texts don’t communicate all there is to say but Chinwag messaging makes it easy to send, save and share precious memories or silly off-the-cuff moments your dad would rather forget. Chinwag has been intuitively designed to ensure it is fun to use, interactive and accessible. Jomoco said about the app: The app is looking great and has met our highest expectations. It was a pleasure to work with the Brightec team throughout the design, build and testing phases of the project.

The Good Fish Guide App

Digital - Food & Drink

The Good Fish Guide is produced by the Marine Conservation Society to help consumers make environmentally sound seafood choices. The Marine Conservation Society are dedicated to conserving the marine environment. They wanted Brightec to build a ‘pocket guide’ style consumer app to help customers make informed decisions when choosing fish at a restaurant, or at the fish counter in the local supermarket. The app - The Good Fish Guide - serves as an index of endangered species of fish in the United Kingdom. The app enables users to make ethical purchasing decisions based on the present sustainability of fish species.
