Project Overview
The features of tall and mystery, from the Gothic architecture, express the image of this restaurant. Guo-Bin Sie, the designer of this restaurant, has applied the elements of Gothic architecture, such as buttress to ribbed vaults, to this restaurant from the perspectives of the external façade and interior design. The arrangement of mosaic, in particular, make customers feel as if living in Europe by means of the elements of luxury, romance, and fantasy, in the movies “The Chronicles of Narnia.”

Project Brief
In this restaurant, the contemporary grandiloquent style corresponds to the Italian gourmets that make the interior space and flavor the complements to each other, the design satisfying the demands for visual and taste from the customers. Guo-Bin Sie, the designer of this restaurant, is appreciate to his client, who encourages him to express his talents of interior design in full play without restrictions, no matter from the issues of sitting tables to style of design. This is the reason that he achieves greatness in this restaurant, Narnia.
Project Need
The main design skill, in this project, is making people appreciate the aesthetics and meanings made from the Gothic ceiling. The frosted glass, which replaces the thick walls, makes the framework both thin and light.
Design Challenge
The design of every Narnia branch store, located in different cities, is adjusted from the perspectives of façade and visual according to the original infrastructure conditions, the differentiations demonstrating the harmony and respect to the surrounding environments and architectures.
Sustainability
The base of this restaurant is furnished by stones, glass, and mosaic floor bricks. The crystal and lustrous atmosphere, created by curtain lines chandelier, corresponds brilliantly to the mosaic floor. The geometric patterns, in the meantime, has made the special effect of fantasy as well.
