Bury’s Premier Inn, an iconic yet affordable hotel, is located at the gateway into Ask Development’s Knowsley Place regeneration scheme.

Designed in close consultation with Whitbread’s development team, the BREEAM Very Good building provides 115 rooms over 5 floors – an additional room per floor above the Premier Inn standard layout.

The ground floor contains all main front of house areas including reception, dining and other facilities, and the elevation treatment providing a clear, open and active frontage.

Restaurant and café facilities are spill out into the public realm, creating destination in their own right within the Knowsley Place development.

The façade of the building is punctuated with dramatic gold window ‘pods’ which provide solar shading to the bedrooms of the main east and west facades as well as producing a dramatic architectural additional to the growing urban renaissance of Bury town centre.
