Winners announced 2015 London Design Awards

25 November 2015, Winners of the 2015 London Design Awards were today announced by design100 Founder Mark Bergin including the Best Studio less than 5 - Align, Best Studio 5 to 20 – RDA Architects and Best Studio 20+ - VistaThe prestigious Design Champion award has gone to Transport for London. 57 winning projects (gold and silver) have also been awarded across the disciplines of Space, Object, Visual and Experience.

Selected winning projects are to be interviewed at the Design Summit [LON] to be held at The Proud Archivist on Thursday 10 December. The Design Summit will explore the projects across 4 themes - Design Courage, The Design Economy, Made for People and Future Now and will be hosted by renowned Australian presenter Fenella Kernebone assisted by panel members, local design experts and Founder, Mark Bergin.

“Again London lives up to the Design Capital standard, this year’s award winners show a deep understanding of how to leverage the design economy. London has a great reputation as an economic powerhouse, the winners of the 2015 London Design Awards show that reputation is deeply connected to the design courage on display across the group of 57 category winners.

We live in an age where technology is disrupting the status quo; design is the fast track for society to harness disruption, reconnecting the community, markets and transforming the economy.

There is no way a single statement can summarise the diversity of projects, innovation and disruption covered throughout the awards – the only recommendation I have is attend the summit, immerse yourself with the inside stories and learn how others are creating award winning projects” said Mr Bergin
