From there, the beautiful countertop juicer makes on-demand cold-pressed juice in minutes – the most nutrient-dense, delicious juice possible right in your kitchen.

Fuseproject worked with Juicero over two years to transform the complexities of the standard industrial cold-pressing equipment into a compact, beautiful, and easy-to-use device that requires zero cleanup after use.
Project Innovation/Need
While the device itself is a minimal, discreet and elegant machine, the Juicero brand is full of life and energy. We designed the Juicero juice packs to reflect this optimistic and dynamic aesthetic – with custom patterns to personify the fresh fruits and vegetables inside. Each pack, designed within the constrains of the high-speed recyclable material printing, has a unique, brightly-colored pattern that balances the appetizing appeal of the juice with a sense of playfulness; the same energy that the Juicero team brings to the table.
Aesthetically, our goal was to balance the organic with the mechanical, creating a luxurious yet approachable kitchen device. A simple white finish complements any kitchen environment, with a pop of color in the door lining subtly visible from the outside and representing the natural fresh juice.
Design Challenge
The distinction of the Juicero cold-press juicer is in its industrial strength design that is also a simply elegant form and details. The front door is an achievement in design and engineering: made from aircraft grade aluminum, it integrates the pack seamlessly before the door locks shut with a simple click. The inside is one continuous rubber lining, made of a robust mixture of flattened and flexible silicon and triton and allowing it to withstand extraordinary amounts of pressure while controlling the flow of liquid. The juicer is also smart – it reads every pouch’s QR code to help track your usage, and also to ensure quality; if your pack is expired, the machine won’t even let you juice it. With a pack loaded in seconds, all the user has to do is push the front button to start the press. Once the juice is poured into your glass, the door opens to reveal a perfectly flattened recyclable pack, with no other mess to clean. The sculptural cavity in the base helps direct the user where to put their glass, but also keeps the product stable when the door is open. Aluminum on the exterior of the face shows its quality and structural integrity, while adding an element of tactility to it.
