Project Brief

The main reception place is on the second floor, where the guests see a huge lobby, the place integrating multiple elements, after stepping out from the elevator. Because the height on each floor accounts for 2.6 meters which make the space stressful, the designer has built up a public area so that each different space connects to one another, including service counter, reception space, food bar, restaurant, lounge, business area, etc.

Project Need

Located at the Banquiao City center, Fushong is a district surrounded by all kinds of buildings and circuitous roads, and is near to The Lin Family Mansion and Garden Night Market, a famous spot. The flourishing business activities have witnessed the history of Banquiao City.

Design Challenge

The elements, in the public area, are black walls, metallic grills, screens, and wooden showcase, which enlarge the space while reserving the individual characters. The big French window on the façade, near the road, spills the inner space with daylight when starting the communications between inner and outer space in the meantime.

Sustainability

The designer strengthens the power of the space by ingeniously designing the floor, which transforms into different style in different space. The integration of different materials, such as rocks, woods, metals, concrete, plastic, fabric, etc., have been delicately filling the hotel with multiple space characters, making visitors feel the entirely different arts, fashions, and life experiences.
