Apptive’s philosophy is that all online merchants should have the ability to sell beyond the desktop with beautiful, native mobile applications. Apptive has structured its business around a DIY app creation and management platform that enables a non-technical user to create and deploy a mobile app for their online store in minutes.
Apptive makes it economical for merchants to create an app with a low cost of $9.99 per month. That includes an iPhone and Android app, an account to manage the app, unlimited push notifications, app usage analytics and support.

Project Brief
Apptive is a platform that allows any ecommerce merchant to create a functional, beautiful mobile app for their online store in minutes with no coding required. Apptive accomplishes this by allowing full control over the branding, color scheme, typography and features of the app. All of this is enabled through our drag and drop EasyApp builder.
In addition to a mobile app, customers are given access to their EasyApp Management Console which lets them make changes to the content of their app at any time. With Apptive, you are not constrained to your original design choices. You can update as trends dictate to provide the best possible app for end users.
Project Need
Apptive offers a complete mobile app package with direct integrations into many ecommerce platforms. Once a merchant builds their app Apptive takes it through the full submission cycle for Android and iOS. We also offer end to end lifecycle management for mobile apps so customers can count on the full support of the Apptive team for the entirety of the time they maintain their mobile app.
A complete mobile presence will become increasingly important as mobile commerce continues to ramp up. Apptive’s highly accessible approach to app creation and management, combined with a low price point, means that merchants of any size can now compete in the mobile space.
User Experience
There are two types of Apptive app users: those who create the app and those who download and shop from the app. App creators engage with the product initially by building the app with our drag and drop, no coding required app builder. From that point forward they are able to visit their management console to make content updates, view analytics, or send push notifications.
End users engage by downloading the app from the App Store and Google Play, shopping from the app, and viewing the content and push notifications that creators send to them.
Project Marketing
Our target market is the 2 million + independent online merchants around the world. We reach this market in two primary ways: 1) We partner and integrate with the leading eCommerce platforms and then co-market to their merchants, and 2) We utilize targeted digital advertising and marketing to reach the merchants of platform partners we are integrated with.
Project Privacy
While Apptive does collect some data around app usage for end customers, and collects email information to relay messages to merchants who use the Apptive platform, all data is secured and is not made known to any third parties or unauthorized individuals.
