Built purely with the user in mind, the redesigned interface puts passengers firmly ‘in the driving seat’ and ensures you’re never more than two taps of the app away from a reliable, affordable and efficient ride. Minicabs can be dispatched immediately, with accurate estimates regarding arrival times, or they can be booked in advance, so you know your Minicabster chariot will be waiting when you need it.
Using the app, you will receive alerts to update you with your vehicle registration and when the driver has arrived, and you can pay for your cab via debit or credit card too – no more fumbling around for spare change or working out how to split the bill with friends. Just one quick tap and the ride is paid for.
Having launched in late 2011, Minicabster is constantly evolving and bringing new technology to the minicab industry to enable it to grow.
Project Marketing
Not only can users download the Minicabster app for iOS, Android and Windows Phones, there's also a fully developed Desktop and responsive Mobile site.
The app engages with users via social media, both organically and through specially targeted ad networks to ensure the app is put in front of the most relevant markets.
Minicabster engages in PR to increase brand awareness of the app and publicise product and business news, such as the release of the newly designed app in May 2015 and the acquisition of competitor app, Bounce. Minicabster being the first European minicab app to grow through part-acquisition of a competitor.
You'll see Minicabster offering users incentives for their first ride, however the emphasis is on building real customer reviews within the app to assist with word of mouth marketing and growth by recommendation.
Minicabster employs teams to engage with Londoners throughout peak times, distributing flyers and increasing the on street presence of the brand - most recently at key London stations.
Project Privacy
All Minicabster users are shown and accept the privacy policy displayed on the site. SSL encryption is also in place to protect users personal details when using Minicabster. No customer information is shared with third parties, and users can opt in to receive marketing and product update communication.
