Project Brief

To outsiders, it is just another space filled with white context. The hierarchy of the owners, clearly depicted as immaculate yet dramatic. At first the common spaces appears as a convulsion by a wall that linked to the kitchen but soon it has gently open up to reunify a cohesiveness inside their domain. This “white theme”; often response as a contemporary version however within the house, design elements were redeployed to create an interaction. For instant, sprawling lineworks overlook the living, capitalised a contrast angle and sculptural distinct wall overlap the dining.

Project Innovation/Need

The piecing conveyance of this house also stretch with the insertion of a hue colour; Tiffany blue. It is a strong colour yet inspiring. The softness of this colour reflects a cascading character which change the physical white concept to a flamboyant effect.

Design Challenge

The originative challenge of this house was the hidden solidly wall and the typical layout of the entire floor template. Our client revealed “An unconventional boundaries need to be addressed”, therefore we reinvent it and the approach is to allow visitors to come with a common mentality but an enormous expectation.

Sustainability

It is easy to create white theme but this house re-inspired a different approach by using a series of montage timber outline to brilliantly cast out a flexibility of co-existence of white space. With a sprinkler touch of "Tiffany blue" gives a cross-level adaptabilities of fashioned sense. However the challenge is the amount intensity of "Tiffany blue" would be used so as not to impose a threat towards the white space apartment as the owner dream space.
