Project Brief

To develop a brand identity and visual language for Cienna which depicts the cultural richness that comes from the combination of urban, inner Melbourne living with the natural, organic living of the outer suburbs.

Project Need

The development of Cienna's brand identity was innovative in two ways.

Firstly, the fresh, urban feel developed was unique to the target market in the outer north-west of Melbourne.

Secondly, the application of the visual language was unlike any other brand implementations that our client had been a part of.

Most importantly, a brand and visual language was developed that exceeded our client's expectations and was well received in the marketplace.

Design Challenge

The key challenge was to develop a brand identity that celebrates the dreams of young and aspiring families seeking vibrant, inner urban-style lifestyles whilst maintaining a down-to-earth, organic feel that did not alienate the established local community of potential purchasers.

2. Our new office incorporates various energy-efficient and environmentally-sensitive principles in its design in order to minimise the building’s embodied energy. Products such as sensor lights, double-glazed timber windows, water tanks, low-VOC paints and high-grade insulation have been a priority. Harnessing natural light supplemented with LED lighting and generating passive air flow to minimize dependency on air-conditioning has also been implemented within the design.

3. We encourage staff to minimise paper wastage and we ensure that our equipment and lighting are switched off when not required.
