Donut King Amazeballs Donut Island - Retail Food Group (RFG) / Retail Food Group (RFG)

Best Mobile Marketing Campaign

- Winner

Question from client - What can you guys do in 6 weeks? Our response - well a lot, but lets chat. RFG recently approached Gruden to design & develop an augmented mobile experience to help support promotion of a new product launching in the Australian market for Donut King (DK) – ‘Amazeballs‘. They wanted something simple. A game (iOS) which was engaging & fun to play. Make use of Augmented Reality. Feature the new product. Provide a framework to build upon. Oh and one last thing…needs to be available to download in 4-6 weeks…doable? Why not.

Hungry Jack's Shake & Win App - Hungry Jack's / Clemenger BBDO Sydney

Best Mobile Marketing Campaign

Fast food retailer, Hungry Jack's, is a David in a category of Goliaths. Outspent and outnumbered, we needed to find a new way to encourage people past the competition and into Hungry Jack’s. We did this with the Hungry Jack’s Shake & Win App. An industry first and entirely new revenue driver, it is a new world solution to an age-old problem. Even as you read this submission, it is continuing to drive customers in store, with someone using it every 5.8 seconds across the country.

Mack Trucks 50 Year Celebration Promotion - Mack Trucks Australia / Kintek.com.au

Best Mobile Marketing Campaign

Mack Trucks approached us for some ideas for their 50th Year Anniversary Celebration. We built two apps which helped engage their customers via iPhone and iPad at the Brisbane Truck Show and afterwards via the iTunes Store. The first app, 'Real Stories', was designed to help Mack get to know more about their customers by allowing them to submit video answers to questions and win prizes. The second app, 'PhotoBooth', allowed people to make custom postcards with their own face and print them out at the Truck Show or at home, and share to Facebook and Twitter.
