Project Brief

The brief highlighted four key areas for development;
1. Simple slick design to more effectively reflect Rapport's business
2. Interactive elements that add to the stylish feel but don't interfere with the user experience
3. Mobile responsiveness to ensure visitors achieve the same experience on any device
4. Ability to roll-out websites and design in stages as new international offices are opened.

Project Innovation/Need

Cascade Studio developed a sleek global home landing page with animated elements and links to individual regional office websites or information pop-overs.

The regional websites (UK and US at this point with India and the Netherlands sites in the pipeline) are stylish and content rich with the UK site featuring slick search and filtering functionality.

The site has been built on the Wordpress platform with Wordpress multi-site activated. This allows content and design changes to be uploaded, search engine optimised and broadcast across the network quickly and easily by the Rapport team.

The regional sites are also linked to each region's Rapport Mailchimp email marketing function. Registrations are captured on-site and a self-managed WYSIWYG template for email communications was designed and installed within the Mailchimp portal to complement the site and increase brand recognition across digital marketing activities.

Design Challenge

The main design challenge was to use Rapport's existing logo and work with it to develop a website that could balance a desire for a modern design aesthetic and fun creativity as seen in competitor sites whilst continuing to appeal to serious and established corporate customer base.

User Experience

“I would highly recommend Cascade if you’re considering designing a website. They took the time to understand our business, our positioning and our needs. Their design ideas were spot-on against the brief – but they also pushed our creative boundaries (in a good way).

They were pleasant to deal with, efficient and with good technical knowledge – which meant that what could have been an arduous task was actually made very simple for me.

In addition to the website design, they also created an e-mail template to mirror the new look of the website. Again, the design work was excellent and was completely on point. We were very happy and our new newsletter looks great!”
