Maintaining the primary experience of Scandinavian and elevate a delicious taste of fusion. The entire experience of this apartment was to re-examine the flavour of Scandinavian and to fully amplified the possibilities of its fantasize

Project Brief

Many times, people envision Scandinavian concept as "White" and "Minimalism" yet functional. However the taste of modern Scandinavian have stamped across the owners of this house, decided, this is their ideal dream concept. The subtle requirement was also to have an open study area which turns out to be a cheekily glimpses of surprise to the visitors. This “study area” takes advantage of the panoramic views of the entire house. Rather than impose wall to wall, the physical appearance speaks an eye-catching orientation that separated the living as a form. Teak wood has furnished into the space to achieve another brilliant flexibility of infusing the minimalism effect.

Project Need

It is easy to sharpen the co-existence of Scandinavian but this house re-inspired that this concept can also orchestrate a montage of different ideas pleasure. Looking from the interior, the space spill out a stunning feature which stretches a confine space to an absolute architectural outline.

Design Challenge

Adaptabilities space is the key challenge that allow a cross-level communication. At first the requirement seem to be just an open concept but the engagement was also to re-fashioned the flavour of Scandinavian yet a brand new experiences. Be it attractive or revolutionary; The end result is to deliver a bold approached with a simple programmed.

Sustainability

The imageability of the apartment delivers a rich seductive white space with a sprinkler of sanctuary timber touch to makes it well-organised. Another permutation of the interior was also to gracefully maintain an open ceiling dialogue with minimal lighting fixtures.




Open to all international projects this award celebrates innovative and creative building interiors, with consideration given to space creation and planning, furnishings, finishes, aesthetic presentation and functionality. Consideration also given to space allocation, traffic flow, building services, lighting, fixtures, flooring, colours, furnishings and surface finishes.
