Consideration also given to space allocation, traffic flow, building services, lighting, fixtures, flooring, colours, furnishings and surface finishes.

The design inspiration comes from the time of Pop Art Movement, by using wall stickers and bold colours to create a trendy atmosphere for the restaurant.

Golden Harvest Whampoa - Golden Harvest / ARTTA Concept Studio

The idea is to combine an industrial building with a film production studio to bring in both of these characteristics to create a cinematic environment and make the customers feel as though they are in the middle of a film set.

The design concept is to create a food factory look, where everything is revealed with concrete floor, exposed pipes and wide open kitchen area; we want the customers to have the pleasure of cooking whilst observing their surroundings and watch how their food gets prepared.

Bistro Bon - Super Star Group / ARTTA Concept Studio

Bistro Bon, a school canteen planted in Kowloon Tong Baptist University. An energetic school-ground with thousands of students crossing everyday, thus a lay back atmosphere is out of question. The space was designed in a Mediterranean style to bring a calm but buoyant atmosphere as a twist to the traditional school canteen.

Rhona - Nathan Green / Joyce Wang Studio

A neighbourhood restaurant bringing to life the character and food culture of chef Nathan Green. It has a relaxed industrial feel that buzzes by day and becomes more hallowed by night. Charred cedar cladding references the grill that Nathan cooks on and copper details are inspired by his love of hot rods and vintage car restoration.

This boutique hotel is designed as a journey of unfoldment in both physical and psychological senses. It is a world of tranquillity, a moment of surprise, an emergence of emotions, upon the travellers' arrival and entry into the space. The entire hotel experience, from the official website, social media, to the spatial discovery and stay, embodies and manifests the aesthetics and poetics underlying the philosophy of the hotel, which is a kind of hidden beauty to be discovered and appreciated with one's heart and mind. By the meticulous arrangement of design elements, we hope to invoke a sense of discovery, to create a memorable hotel experience with undulating waves of feelings, ripples of delight.

Potato Head Hong Kong - PTT Family / Sou Fujimoto Architects

Potato Head Hong Kong is the second international outpost from Indonesian hospitality and lifestyle group PTT Family and their first collaboration with JIA Group, founded by local restaurateur Yenn Wong. Potato Head Hong Kong was designed by award-winning Tokyo-based architect Sou Fujimoto and PTT Family’s in-house creative team. Fujimoto took inspiration from local architecture to deliver a new twist to his signature metal frame structures, which form the entire exterior façade of the space.
