Project Brief
The Professionals property managers are responsible for managing anywhere between 80-120 properties, which is a lot of rent inspections and property condition reports. The problem was that this process was time consuming as they had to record the information on site, take hundreds of photos and then enter this all again when they returned to the office, effectively doubling the time the inspection should take.
Realising that there must be a better way the Professionals undertook a rigorous process of testing all of the existing app products on the market, however none of the existing products met all of their requirements, prompting them to engage Dapper Apps to develop a custom solution.
The end result is an app that is intuitive, easy to use, meets the requirements of property managers, saves time, ensures quality and delivers what the Professionals believe is the best product on the market.
Project Need
The Professionals strongly believe that PM Pro is the best and most innovative app on the market. This has resulted in the app recently receiving the Real Estate Institute of WA innovation award.
The app has delivered features that where missing from existing products, making this a truly innovative app that has delivered a product that meets the needs of all property managers.

- Secure allocation of properties. If you lose your iPad, simply login to another iPad and away you go!
- Easy to update properties on the go
- Ability to record summary routine inspections
- Central location where agencies can control who has access to what properties
- Professional, central site where landlords can view all property inspections recorded using PM Pro.
- Access to standardised comments, which can be applied to all Property Managers
- Ability to upload an unlimited amount of images via WiFi (some inspections require up to 500 images, other products limit the number of photos a property manager can take)

Making this a simple tool was the number one goal, and one we successfully achieved. Throughout the process we were able to continually receive feedback from experienced property managers. Based on their real life testing we were able to modify the app to deliver an effective and engaging tool.
We have implemented a number of elements and functionality that reduce the amount of manual input required by the user. For example the design allows the user to select standard items and comments that are common to all properties, reducing time to set up a new property and complete a report.
Wherever the app can make it easier for the property manager it does.
Project Marketing
PM Pro initially started as just a tool for the Kelly Team franchise, however they quickly realised that it would benefit all property managers.
The marketing has focused on expanding usage amongst Professionals Real Estate agents throughout Australia. This is being achieved through director engagement with franchisee's, presenting at conferences and engaging with the Professionals CEO and Executive team.
PM Pro are also actively engaging other real estate franchises and are working on a version that can be released to the public and uses through a SaaS model.

All data is managed by and only visible to the relevant agency.
