Project Overview

The Hyundai Accessories iOS and Android App is the official digital catalog of Hyundai Genuine Accessories from Hyundai Motor Company Australia.
It's an interactive tool that provides the ability to preview any new Hyundai vehicle (in any colour) with the complete range of available accessories, and create a costed wishlist.

Project Brief

The brief was to provide a digital tool for Hyundai dealership sales staff that would demonstrate and visualise the entire accessories range - across every vehicle and every colour - and enable the creation of a shopping list of accessories.
In particular, the app was designed to enable dealers to help their customers visualise the accessories on the car in the colour that they are purchasing, with a view to increased sales of accessories. It's also available to the general public through the App Store and Google Play.

Project Need

The App has a number of innovative features:
*Showcasing the full range of cars and available colours - this covers 17 models and 70+ colours - and all accessories.
*A complex array of 1,000+ overlaid high resolution images are used to provide the composite views of cars and accessories.
*Ability to rotate between front and rear vehicle views
*Ability for users to add and remove as many accessories to build up the car as needed
*Generate a custom wish-list with associated part costs and email direct from the app

User Experience

One of the objectives of the App was to give customers the ability to visualise and experience accessories on their vehicle. The interface allows them to add and remove accessories with ease and playfulness - trying various options and getting a feel for how the accessories will look on their vehicle. Subtle transitions and high resolution imagery give an effortlessly premium feel to the experience.

Project Marketing

Primarily a sales enablement tool, Hyundai managed a B2B marketing campaign to their internal dealer network of approximately 160 dealers to assist them in better customer service and demonstration of the accessories available.

Both Hyundai and webqem are committed to the responsible collection and use of personal information. All personal information is secure and private.
