Project Brief

In the last 12 months BL!NK Republic Social Media Booth technology has featured at world renowned sporting events including Ashes Tests, The Australia Open, the NRL Grand Final and the AFL Finals Week. In addition, BL!NK Republic has been at the centre of large interactive marketing campaigns for Jessica Mauboy Concerts , Cinema Under the Stars, Sydney Fashion Festival, Bathurst V8s and Pacha.

The bespoke technology was recently launched internationally in the UK for the launch of Britain's Got Talent by Virgin Media UK, who acknowledged "they hadn't seen technology like this anywhere else".

Project Need

- The interactive BL!NK Republic Social Sharing platform instantly increases Social sharing of branded event photos and creates a unique consumer experience.

- The Social Sharing of event photos increases awareness, connections and engagement for Brands. Albums containing all the event photos are hosted on the Brands/ Event Facebook pages with the messages shared by users linking to this album.

- Email and Mobile Data collected by the system can be used to continue communication with consumers.

User Experience

- Users engage with BL!NK Republic Social Media Booths at events or at touch points for marketing campaigns.

- Using touch screens they are able to instantly share their photos by posting to their Facebook Wall, by email or mobile.

- This experience needs to be intuitive and interactive, it needs to be a fun, consumer centric experience.

- System and user experience development was refined to be informative to the user, easy to use and functional. This ensures high levels of interaction and usage at events.

Project Marketing

BL!NK Republic Social Media booth technology was specifically developed for Brands, Rights Holds and Sponsors. The uptake of the technology by these customers has been driven by B2B engagement with relevant clients, sharing best practice with industry groups and targeted Social Media.

The technology is now being promoted in the United Kingdom to similar customers through B2B comms and Social Media.
