Project Need
It is the Best Car Drift game Ever. It allows the player to play in solo mode, or online mode. The player can play in different areas and land marks of the city of Dubai. It is based on Dubai city and it highlight important landmarks thus promoting tourism. Areas available in the game such as Palm Beach, Burj Area, Dubai Airport, Ski Dubai and Dry Docks. The user can know his rank worldwide. Also, he can record his drifting and share it with People online. In order to develop a good game, we did focus group on more than 1000 students from different cities in the UAE, in order to get their feedback's and know what they like. ALso, we ads psychologist in the process of developing the game. It is innovative because it is developed internally withing a government department. It reached Rank No. 1 in the UAE in less than 24 hours after the release. It is free but provide in-app purchases through buying cars. Also, income is created from ads in the game.
User Experience
We had more than 1000 students from different level and from different cities in the UAE. We developed many versions of the game until we reached the current version. We had continues focus groups on the game to know what young people like or dislikes. So, we engage the users through the development process. Also, we get feedback's after we released the game. Many users now records their drifting and share it with their friends. Also, they can compete with their friends online.
Project Marketing
We pre-market the game through forums, ads. Then we marketed the game through different channels such as google Adwords, facebook, twitter, flurry, and many others. So, we used both, paid and free ways to market the game. The game reached #1 in the UAE in less than 24 hours. Also, the game was featured on apple main page and selected by Apple Best of 2014 games. Also, it reached rank #1 in many countries. We use push notifications to inform players with any updates or competitions. Users always come back to compete in the competition, where they rewarded new cars.
Project Privacy
WE included many privacy police links in the game. So, it will take the website of the game, or the page on facebook, where you can read the privacy policy.
