Project Overview

iMeet Agenday is a Smartphone app that combines all of your calendars automatically to easily navigate a consolidated view of your professional and personal activities with a one easy-to-read daily schedule. With one touch you can join online meetings,dial into conferences, call a group of people, send 'running late' messages, get turn-by-turn driving directions, social media integration and more.

The app was developed through PGi's “Innovation Lab,” a group of designers, engineers and developers tasked with prioritising innovation at the company. Ultimately, the Lab’s responsibility is to hatch the company’s next great idea. iMeet Agenday is the first product to have gone through the research, testing and development process and has inspired employees from around the global organisation to contribute to the app’s improvement and upgrades.

The entire app was built and brought to market in three months, using the Agile software development model with six two-week sprints. The prototype was developed and tested amongst thousands of PGi associates, and underwent a period of productisation. It debuted in the App Store in March 2014, and an Android version launched in April 2014.

iMeet® Agenday™, PGi’s Smart Calendar app (with nearly 30,000 users already in 1 year) is a smarter way to organise and take control of your meeting-filled schedule. iMeet Agenday enables users to integrate all their digital calendars, including Outlook, iCal, Google Calendar and others, so that their personal and work life are stored in one place. Now with smartwatch integration to help busy workers better manage their days—right from their wrists.

iMeet Agenday integrates with the most popular online meeting software like Lync, GoToMeeting® and WebEx® to make joining an audio or web conference as simple as one touch of the screen. iMeet Agenday will also save you and your company money by automatically choosing the lowest-cost dialling option local number to dial-in to conferences.

If running late, you can send a message to attendees letting them know your status – again, with just one touch. And if driving to a meeting, the app will give turn-by-turn directions to get to the location. You can also log sales calls and add contacts directly into your Salesforce Premium accounts.

iMeet Agenday is a comprehensive organisational tool that allows users to access various applications for business planning purposes, and helps effectively structure and plan their days.Everything you need to start your day, stay up-to-date on personal and work activities, and grow as a professional are all inside the app.

Features unique to iMeet Agenday, such as turn-by-turn directions and weather forecasts, were things that PGi employees wanted in our own lives to add efficiencies to our hectic days. Many of our collaboration software power users are executive leaders and salespeople, so the LinkedIn and Salesforce.com integrations were tailored to help them learn more about who they were meeting, as well as log those sales activities in a frictionless way.

iMeet Agenday™ already has nearly 30, 000 users globally and this number continues to grow through PGi’s digital marketing strategy that covers SEO, PPC, blogging, content marketing programs and social media - all supported by its own dedicated website: www.agenday.com.

PGi has a committed program of communications to our existing conferencing customers to bring iMeet Agenday to their attention. Sales Managers encourage all new and existing customers to enhance their work life by downloading the free app to help them stay organised, connected and prepared to tackle every day tasks in both their work and personal lives. We aim to let our customers know that the app can help them by connecting the dots with their calendar, meeting software, social media, messaging and more.

We engage with all iMeet Agenday users via triggered email communications and in-app notifications with tips and new features and information to help them get the most out of their day. Part of the strategy involves targeting larger companies within our customer base for the Enterprise version of iMeet Agenday - as they could benefit from even more features and branding possibilities.

Project Privacy

The spirit of iMeet Agenday is to create improved productivity for mobile knowledge workers around the world and an essential component of this is to have them rest assured that their location, calendar, contacts and SMS remain private and are not stored with PGi.

To maintain privacy, iMeet Agenday uses time-based HMAC tokens to ensure data integrity and authentication of messages transported between the App and iMeet Agenday Servers over a secured socket layer. iMeet Agenday authenticates users with one-time passwords (OTP) that expire after 3 hours. iMeet Agenday is careful to not store personal data beyond the email address used for account authentication on servers.
